More than 1,500 members, one search away.

IPAV represents licensed auctioneers, valuers and estate agents in Ireland. We built the platform behind its public member directory and its online membership applications, and rebuilt the website.

In short

The problem
The Institute’s brief was self-service: members and the public should find what they need on the site rather than phoning the office.
What we built
A membership platform at members.ipav.ie, and the ipav.ie website rebuilt on WordPress with a custom theme.
What changed
The member directory is searchable, membership applications run online with payment, and members sign in to their own accounts.

Membership platform

An application of its own, at members.ipav.ie.

Loco Digital designed and built the platform at members.ipav.ie as custom software: a Laravel application written to the Institute’s membership rules.

Three screens of the IPAV work: News and Events on ipav.ie, the member directory search, and signing in on members.ipav.ie

Applications

Joining is thirteen numbered steps.

An applicant works through profile and employment details, qualifications, referees, declarations and a signature. They upload licence copies and qualification files inside the form, and pay the application fee by Stripe. The same form covers five membership categories, each with its own evidence rules.

The website

Where the Institute publishes everything else.

Events, courses, webinars, magazines and more: each of the thirteen types has a shape of its own. Five hub pages gather them, each one a contents list for the section under it.

Find a member

The member list, open to everyone.

The directory is the platform’s front page, and the records behind it stay synchronised with the Institute’s CRM, so the public list and the office work from the same data.

Search by name

Filters narrow it down: all 32 counties, membership category and TEGOVA valuer status.

A page for every member

Designations, company, county and contact details, all published without a login.

Built for a phone

The advanced filters fold behind one toggle, so the search still fits a small screen.

The result

The work is live at both addresses.

The website launched in 2025 and the platform in July 2026, and a visitor crossing from one to the other never sees the join.
