What makes Loco Digital different from other studios?
You deal directly with Mark and Adam Murphy, the directors who lead the work, from the first call to support after launch.
How fast can we get started?
Usually within a week or two. Every project starts with a short consult that ends in a scoped, costed plan, so you know the price and timeline before anything is built.
What does the process look like?
Consult, design, build. We find where software pays back, design around how your team works, then build and ship it in working increments you can use as we go.
What do you build?
Websites and online stores, web apps and mobile apps for iOS and Android, and custom software, with automation and AI added where they pay back. Recent builds include the ESMA apps and the ERP HEADtoHEAD booking engine.
What if we already have a website?
That is common. We take over, rebuild or extend existing sites and systems. We review what you have first, and tell you when starting fresh would cost less than keeping it.
Do you provide support after launch?
Yes. A retainer from €2,000 a month covers hosting, maintenance, fixes and new work. It is optional, and you own the code and the data either way.
Can we combine several services in one project?
Yes. One project can cover design, development, SEO, an integration with a system you already run and the marketing and video around the launch, with one team accountable for all of it.
Do you replace our team or work alongside it?
Either. We can run a project from first call to launch, or work inside your team on the parts it has no time for. We agree which at the consult.
Can you take over something another studio started?
Yes, often. We read the code and the design first, then tell you what is worth keeping and what would cost more to inherit than to rebuild.
Do you do design without the build, or build without the design?
Yes, both, with some added scope. A design handed to another team needs detailed specs, and building from someone else’s design means checking its decisions against your workflow first.
Where do SEO and content fit in?
Into the structure itself. Page hierarchy, metadata, performance and content shape are set while the pages are being designed. Retrofitting them afterwards is slower and works less well.
Can you connect it to the systems we already run?
Usually. CRMs, payment, booking and accounting systems connect through documented APIs, and we confirm each one before we quote. The IPAV member directory, for example, stays synchronised with the Institute’s CRM. CRM integration and accounting automation each have a page of their own.
What does the monthly retainer include?
From €2,000 a month, it covers design and development hours, priority fixes, hosting, monitoring and backups, and a senior contact who knows your stack.
Do we have to take a retainer?
No. A project can end at launch and you keep everything. The retainer exists because most sites and apps keep changing after they go live, and having the people who built it make those changes is faster than briefing someone new.
Who do we talk to when something breaks?
A senior person who knows your build, and the same one each time. Priority fixes are part of the retainer rather than a separate call-out.
Do you host what you build?
We can, and hosting, monitoring and backups are included in the retainer. If you would rather host it yourself or keep an existing provider, that works too. We hand over the setup documented.
Do we own the code and the data?
Yes. You own the code and the data and can take them elsewhere at any point. Where we host or publish for you, the repository, hosting and store listings transfer to you on request.
What happens if we want to move on?
We hand over cleanly, with the code, the data, the documentation and every admin login, so the next team can pick the work up without rebuilding anything.
